10.00 - 11.00 am: The User Centric Era, by Master of Ceremony Evan Shapiro

Speakers: Evan Sapiro, Sarah Geeroms, Daniel Scholz

Media Cartographer Evan Shapiro explains the new era of Media, using detailed research and his signature Media mapping, Shapiro will lay out his Seven Rules for Thriving in the User Centric Era and present case studies from around the world and across the current landscape of companies bringing true transformation into the entertainment ecosystem. Audiences are now in control of their Media, changing their suite of subscriptions and inputs in their system settings, with swipes of their thumbs, based on an ever-changing hierarchy of feeds. In this riveting session, Shapiro will take you inside the mind of the modern Media consumer.

11.30 am - 12.30 pm: New Media Experiences - The Future of Storytelling & Monetization, presented by Amagi and moderated by Sten-Kristian Saluveer

Speakers: Sten-Kristian Saluveer, Srinivasan KA, Linette Zaulich, David Freeman

Is Peak TV over? Is content commoditized? In a world awash in great content, how do artists and publishers create great content without getting entirely lost in the paradox of choice? Is there a new normal economic model for making TV and Film, or is the system forever broken? Moderated by the CEO at Storytek Innovation & Venture Studios / Head of Cannes Next, this panel features the founder Amagi, the Head of D2C Channels at German Public Media ZDF, and CAA’s Co-Head of Digital Media. Together they will lead a deep discussion on how to build the media ecosystem creators need and consumers want - to make our content sustainable across the myriad platforms in today’s Media Universe.

2.30 - 3.30 pm: Trust & Relationship with Today's Audience -  How to Maintain and Foster the Dialogue in a New Digital Era, moderated by Erika Allen

Speakers: Erika Allen, Paul Cheung, Mickey Galin, Veera Siivonen

In the User-Centric Media Universe, the strength of your community is more valuable than the scale of your reach. In a digital world rife with misinformation and broken trust, how do platforms, publishers, creators, and brands earn, maintain, and protect the trust of an engaged community? How does privacy fit into the next era of content? Moderated by the Head of Audience Strategy at The Washington Post, this panel features the Executive Director for The Center for News, Tech & Innovation, the Head of Products at global research firm GWI, and the CCO of AI SaaS platform Saidot. They will offer their plan to bridge the gap between audience and community, and show how to create a true bond between the Media and those we are meant to serve.

4.00 - 5.00 pm: Data & AI - Using Data to Make Media Better, presented by VideoAmp and moderated by Evan Shapiro

Speakers: Evan Shapiro, Miranda Marcus, Travis Scoles, Josh Hudgins

More data is collected about us than ever. We blithely give up personal information in the terms and conditions, in exchange for convenience and the perception of personalization. But how is that data really being used? More importantly, how can the Media use all this data for good, rather than just for commerce? Media’s unofficial Cartographer will be joined by the Chief of Product at VideoAmp, the Executive Product Manager of BBC’s News Lab, and Paramount’s SVP of Advanced Advertising, leading a discussion about how the Media can use the vast data we are collecting, SAFELY AND PRIVATELY, to improve all experiences for all consumers across this new User Centric Era.
