Originating from a European-funded initiative launched in 2018 to establish an international network of media innovation accelerators to test and scale groundbreaking ideas in the media sector. MediaRoad's ambition to foster media innovation in Europe through entrepreneurship is now being carried on by the Sandbox Hub. This hub is designed to inspire and support international media organisations tocollaborate with startups. This international network enables members to form partnerships with startups, help develop their innovations and scale up their businesses, while introducing new technologies, ideas and insights to the media organisation in general.
