RTBF's Cap48Heures

iXPé streamers

Cap48Heures is RTBF’s charity marathon of 48 hours, held on the streaming platform Twitch. 24 streamers managed to collect nearly €60,000 in the first edition, and more than €80,000 in their second edition with the help of their communities.

The streamer’s mission was to activate their community to collect as many donations as possible. These donations were used to help young people with integration difficulties. There are many things to learn from Cap48Heures such as that streaming events are a good way for streamers or creators to meet and connect, as being a streamer or creator can be quite lonely sometimes. Streaming is also a very good way to reach those that you would otherwise not be able to reach through traditional media such as some youth.
