Mission

The New Technology Hub was launched in February 2020, in order to exchange technology knowledge across borders and with other public and commercial media companies. It seeks to stimulate international collaborations based on livestreaming, innovative future broadcast, POC’s, and other emerging formats. Its mission is to build an international network dedicated to the promotion, development and exchange of innovative media tools, mechanisms, strategies and workflows. The Hub's first joint project involved an international webinar focusing on media production, news broadcasting and livestreaming in times of corona. This webinar, ‘Broadcasting in quarantine: how is the world handling it’, presented some amazing speakers that shared their insights on how to adapt normal life to drastic circumstances. With a Q&A-box full of questions, we were able to complete our first project successfully.

Will you be our next New Technology Hub member?

“Being one of the enthusiasts in the group who loves to experiment with new technologies for creative content creation, I fully support the New Technology Hubs' concept. Personally, I am most captivated by the hands-on 'hackery' approach and how we are able to come up with a new solution in an unconventional way. Looking forward to more and hoping to conduct more crazy, shared experiments with other members in the future!”
