As a public media service, RTP seeks to stimulate creativity and innovation. With that purpose, in a pioneering way, it created RTP Lab in 2017. RTP Lab is a hub for new talents and new forms of content production, designed in a multiplatform logic. Thus, a public content consultation is made every year, in the search for fiction, talk shows, documentary  and humor genres, that use new forms of narrative in exclusively digital environments.
