Stars4Media application
A while ago, the Video Snackbar Hub applied for a new project called, Stars4Media. This an exchange and training programme, co-funded by the EU, for young media professionals (“rising stars”) to accelerate media innovation and cross-border cooperation in Europe.
We got it! Here’s what we’re going to do with it.
This funding programme fosters innovation through collaboration between media organisations, just like Video Snackbar Hubs’ purpose. Supported by this project, we will set up a repository of software components that can be used to build innovative broadcast workflows. Whether it be in testimonies or actual tutorials. We typically use non-broadcast software for this, because it allows for more creative solutions. Touchdesigner for example, is a tool meant for stage and art installations and can perform many broadcast-like tasks. Furthermore, we will be promoting the use of “design thinking” and “fast design” methodologies. The goal is to strive towards an impactful, vibrant and innovative community that is able to build and share components for fast-paced media production.
